PILLARS OF THE SCHOLAS
At the same location going to Elsterberg looking down I thought the heart carved into this wooden piece looked inspiring. I made it B&W because I wanted to focus on the heart only and not the colors. The wooden pillars, let’s call it, are orange-brown-red.
I tried to increase the light to make the heart stand out more, but it was a bit difficult since the whole picture changes shape while contrasts are formed due to exposure. So I tried to compromise with the channels to make at least a part of the picture a bit lighter. I think I succeeded a little with this, though only a fractionally lighter heart appeared…
ELSTERBERG
On the way down the hill to Elsterberg. A bit more colorful and with a different light of day.
GRAFFITI TUNNEL
I did not hide my joint here in the tunnel found next to the Arbeit picture digging area
VIEL SPATER
yeah, I don’t speak German but I wished I did
so can you guess what this image wants to express?
me neither
ah, a white line!
GLOOMY
the weather started getting gloomy and rainy in Dresden on the 2nd of Jan
though there was a great light in the sky reflecting nicely on the water
MEDIAN TIRE
OR:
ÄSCH – TOO MUCH OF THE GOOD
maybe I should let my pics be without modification, I don’t know
I AM TIRE(D) NOW
SAME TIRES
SERIOUSLY WOULD YOU stop to CHOOSE?
I SEE NOW THAT THE BROWN COLOR IS NOT OVERLY EXCITING, SUCK (SIGH)…
THE ABOVE IS WITHOUT MEDIAN MODIFICATION
NEXT POST IS THE MODIFICATION I LIKE MOST
RED HOLIDAYS
Prosit!
so I spend the New Year’s holidays in Scholas
we can call it the Red Holidays? Christmas and stuff…
I know it is a bit too red and flat to the point it looses contrast and interest – perhaps
BUT!
there is of course more selective color changes from this PSD file
AND!
SCHOLAS SACHSEN GERMANY
There will be more posts of pics from Sachsen… meanwhile we put up this one of me from the 18km walk on New Years Eve around Scholas.
